Live Thread: Cavs @ Heat
The wounded Cavs make their way to South Beach tonight where their winning ways will be tested against a 23-22 Heat squad. Miami is 5-5 in their last ten but is coming off a double overtime game against Orlando Monday after a comfortable win Saturday in Brooklyn. Key to stopping Miami will be slowing down the hot-shooting Tyler Herro, who is launching almost ten triples a game and making 40% of them while averaging 24/5/6. Bam Adebayo is always a tough matchup on both ends, and Terry Rozier is a know Cavs killer.
Injuries for Cleveland include Merrill, Garland (just rest), LeVert, Wade, and Okoro whole Miami is missing Isaiah Stevens, Josh Richardson, and (comically suspended yet again) Jimmy Butler. His exile has seemed to galvanize the heat, but let’s hope the Cavs expand the rotation to counter the energy and Koby Altman sells Riles on looping him into the eventual Butler trade in order to bring KLove home. Should be a fun one. Go Cavs.
