Bosnian guard Harun Zrno closing in on college decision following Virginia visit

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Bosnian guard Harun Zrno is back home and closing in on a college decision following his final official visit to Virginia from Jan. 15-18.

The 6-foot-7 guard visited Indiana, Wisconsin and Creighton prior to Virginia.

“The visit to UVA was really nice,” Zrno told ZAGSBLOG. “They’re not playing that well this season, but they have a really good coaching staff.

“For me personally, they see me to be part of the team and have a role right away in the team. They’re playing team basketball and they have a really good style of play which is tradition for UVA basketball.

“My next step is to rest a little bit and make a decision [what] will be my college in the future.”

As for what skilset he’ll bring to college, Zrno said: “Everyone is looking at me as a shooter but I bring a lot more than just shooting the ball. I like to play defense hard, attack off the dribble and find my teammates for easy plays. I learned how to play with the ball and I like having the ball in my hands. Anything to do in order for my team to win the games.”
