This one is going to have people talking.

When we talk about Notre Dame, most of the attention goes to the sophomore backcourt of Markus Burton and Braeden Shrewsberry. Shrewsberry is an elite three point shooter and Burton, though just 5-11, is highly athletic and fearless.

Toss in Princeton transfer Matt Allocco and Notre Dame has a very, very good backcourt.

Somehow Tae Davis hasn’t gotten as much attention, but that may change after Notre Dame hosted Boston College Monday night.

Davis has averaged 16.1 ppg, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists. He’s shot decently at 51.5 percent, although that’s mostly inside and could be a little better.

The 6-9 junior has emerged as a solid player this season but not necessarily spectacular. Well, he did something against BC in Notre Dame’s 78-60 with that had people jumping out of their chairs.

Davis headed across the lane and then absolutely buries a windmill dunk over 6-9 Chad Venning.

It really is a spectacular play and one that Notre Dame fans will be talking about for a while.
