The full injury report for Wednesday’s game between Golden State and Atlanta.

The Golden State Warriors will look to avoid their first losing streak of the season tonight when they return to the Chase Center to host the Atlanta Hawks at 7:00 p.m. PT. The Dubs will likely have most of their players available, but they do have a lot of rotation players who are varying levels of question mark.

Here’s the full injury report.

Warriors

Out — De’Anthony Melton (left ACL sprain)

Melton will miss his third consecutive game with an ACL sprain, and his eighth total this season. While it initially seemed like Melton’s injury wasn’t too big of a deal, coach Steve Kerr recently admitted that the team has a high level of concern.

Questionable — Kyle Anderson (right neck spasm)

Anderson was a late scratch from Friday’s win due to neck spasms, but was able to return for Monday’s loss. His length would definitely be helpful against Atlanta.

Questionable — Gary Payton II (right calf tightness)

GPII hasn’t had a huge role so far in the early season, but it’s been a critical role, as he provides elite defense that Kerr deploys in short bursts. Could be very helpful against Trae Young, so hopefully he’s active.

Probable — Steph Curry (left knee bursitis)

Curry was also on Monday’s injury report, but was still able to play, and he looked like he was moving well. So I’d assume he’s fine today.

Probable — Kevon Looney (illness)

After a one-game absence, the iron-man of the Warriors rotation appears set to re-join the team.

Hawks

Out — Cody Zeller (not with team)

Zeller hasn’t played this season, as he’s been away from the team due to an undisclosed personal matter. Hopefully everything is okay with him and his family.

Questionable — Jalen Johnson (left lateral lower leg inflammation)

Holy alliteration! What an injury. Johnson, the 20th-overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, has really emerged over the last two seasons. He’s not just a starter for Atlanta in his fourth season, but one of the most relied-upon players in the league, as he’s averaging 36.6 minutes per night, the 10th-highest figure in the NBA. He’s also nearly averaging a highly-impressive double-double, with career-highs of 19.4 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

Enjoy the action, Dub Nation!
