The thing that sets basketball apart from other sports is the constant movement, and what makes the constant movement sublime is passing.

This compilation of great NBA passes is something to see. Some of the names you’d expect - Jason Williams (the other one), LeBron James, Manu Ginobli - but some are guys you wouldn’t think of as great passers. Take for instance Stephen Curry and Kobe Bryant. Both are among the greatest offensive players in NBA history, but it’s also true that both shared a keen desire to be great, and to be truly great, you have to have the full skill set - and you have realize that no matter how good you are, you can’t move faster than a passed ball.

The other thing that’s not really obvious to most of us who never get anywhere near this level is the wrist strength that some of these guys have. Pair that with a lifetime of mistakes followed by lessons and you get what we see here.
