Aaron Rodgers blasts ‘patently false’ Robert Saleh rumors with Pat McAfee
Now Aaron Rodgers is not a believer in conspiracy theories
On Tuesday, the New York Jets parted ways with head coach Robert Saleh, after the team limped to a 2-3 start out of the gate and lost in London on Sunday to the Minnesota Vikings. The move prompted a tremendous amount of speculation in the NFL world, with reports emerging that Saleh was on the verge of either firing or demoting offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
Another set of rumors? That quarterback Aaron Rodgers perhaps played a role in Saleh’s dismissal.
On Wednesday the veteran quarterback made his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee show and pushed back on those rumors.
“As far as any of the ridiculous allegations that are out there, I’m not going to spend more than one sentence in response to it,” began Rodgers. “I resent any of those accusations because they’re patently false.”
Rodgers continued to say that it’s “interesting the amount of power that people think I have.”

The Jets, under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich, are back in action this weekend, taking on the Buffalo Bills in a pivotal AFC East matchup on Monday Night Football. Just how pivotal? A win over the Bill could see the Jets emerge out of Week 6 leading the division.
What a world.
