In a problem very unique to LeBron James, he’s already drawn the line on what his son Bronny can call him on the court this season.

With LeBron and Bronny sailing into unchartered waters as the first father and son to play in NBA history, there are going to be things no one else has ever had to consider before.

Like what is Bronny supposed to call LeBron on the court?

Well, we know what he won’t be calling him. In a snippet of a preview of his upcoming episode of “The Shop,” LeBron revealed Bronny is not allowed to call him “dad” while at the Lakers facility or arena.

He followed that up with a tweet joking about the clip on Twitter as well.

Honestly, it would be absolutely hilarious hearing Bronny yell “Dad, I’m open!” while on the court together. 10/10. Sign me up.

But if that’s off the table, then what are the best other names? We aren’t letting “goat” be the answer here either, as LeBron joked.

The funniest answer here is LeDad, which isn’t technically off limits. If Bronny were to call him LeDad either on the court or in the locker room where it was audibly heard, then I’d make the case that his jersey should be retired on the spot. It would be easily the funniest moment of LeBron’s career.

Imagine Lakers jerseys that say LeDad on them. They’d sell out in a heartbeat.

There’s also the funny element that LeBron kind of mentioned, but does Bronny ride to work with his dad? Are part of his rookie duties to carry his dad’s luggage throughout the year? Does he have to actually be the one that drives LeBron to the facilities?

These are going to be the important questions we need answers to throughout the season.
