Lawsuit against Dwight Howard dismissed

Harper had alleged in the lawsuit that Howard sexually assaulted him at Howard’s home in Georgia on July 19, 2021. In the complaint, Harper also accused Howard of “intentional infliction of emotional distress” and false imprisonment. In a filing in October, Howard denied the allegations and said he engaged in “consensual sexual activity” with Harper. In his response, Howard also said he expressed interest in meeting up with Harper in Atlanta after the two corresponded via text and Instagram beginning in May 2021. A civil lawsuit against former NBA star Dwight Howard alleging sexual assault and battery has been dismissed, according to a court filing obtained by ESPN.
