Most of the team struggled to match Serbia, but definitely not Stephen Curry

If you watched the US-Serbia game Thursday, it was a real roller coaster. The Serbs played brilliantly early and it looked as if the old script of the US vs. International teams - they nail threes while we don’t and get increasingly tense while they keep raining threes - might, after a long time, happen again.

Well it didn’t, and largely because of Steph Curry.

The rest of the team was erratic for much of the game but Curry showed why he is regarded as probably the greatest shooter in the history of the game.

Even when the Serbs led by 17, Curry kept Team USA from getting completely blown out and when the comeback started, he was a key part of that too.

This video features highlights of the entire game, not just Curry, but he was such a big part of the win that it could have been a Curry video.

We were hoping for a big win but really, this was probably better. One of our pet theories is that you only get your best game once. We’d rather see that Saturday against France.
