This marks the second game of the Olympics for both teams in Group C. They are grouped with Germany and Japan.

Watch Team USA vs. Belgium FREE on FuboThe U.S. had a dominant 102-76 win over Japan in its Olympic opener. Five players finished with a double-double, once again showing the team’s depth. Forward A’Ja Wilson continued her strong play with 24 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks.
Belgium is looking to bounce back after taking a loss to Germany. Despite losing by 14 points, Belgium shot 45 percent from the floor and had 23 assists.
Several players on Belgium’s team have WNBA experience, including Emma Meesseman, a WNBA champion in 2019 with the Washington Mystics. Meesseman hasn’t played in the WNBA since 2022, but she has the build to keep up with the skilled U.S. bigs.
Belgium finished seventh in the Tokyo Games, fifth at the World Cup a year later, and won the EuroBasket championship last year.
