Three-star class of 2025 center Seal Diouf of Dunn School (CA) and the Vegas Elite Nike EYBL AAU program has committed to Georgetown, he told ZAGSBLOG.

The 6-foot-8, 215 pound center is Georgetown’s first commit in the 2025 class.

The Georgetown staff has been on Diouf since Patrick Ewing was the head coach. Diouf was one of few prospects Ed Cooley stayed on from the Ewing era.

Last time Diouf caught up with ZAGSBLOG, he said the culture of the Georgetown program is what attracted him to the school.

“It’s great to be a Hoya,” Diouf said. “Everyone wants to be a Hoya. Everybody loves it there. So it’s something I think a lot of people want to be a part of. Coach Cooley, he does it man. He makes pros. He makes winners. It’s just a great program.”

Diouf is originally from the Netherlands and plays with the men’s national team in FIBA. The big man also speaks several languages including Dutch, French and English.

Diouf was unable to play at Peach Jam with Vegas Elite due to an injury, but he was a crucial piece in getting the squad to the prestigious tournament.

At Session 4 in Kansas City, Vegas Elite had to rally and win games to slip into the field. Diouf contributed 11.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game to the effort and helped Vegas to a 3-2 record.

Vegas Elite made Peach Jam and went 0-5 in pool play without their big man.
