Dating back to the start of the 2022-23 season, only four players have made more than 100 corner three-pointers while converting over 42% of their attempts.
Three of those four are now Knicks:

The Knicks will be aggressive in their attempt to re-sign OG Anunoby, per @wojespn.
New York’s goal is to form one of the most lethal defensive wing duos in recent memory with Mikal Bridges and Anunoby. pic.twitter.com/icb7iH0JuV1:09 AM

Yossi Gozlan @YossiGozlan
Over the past few seasons, OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges were touted as the premier starter-level wings that every team is dying to have, who could fit anywhere, and would cost a lot to acquire since there are so few players like them.
The New York Knicks got both of them. – 12:43 AM
Steve Popper @StevePopper
Providing Knicks can sign Anunoby it will be an interesting exercise for Thibodeau to plot out a lineup. Whatever the choice it is a deep and talented roster – along with 3 picks in the draft (although I wouldn’t be surprised now if they try to push at least 1 pick for a future) – 11:26 PM

Mikal Bridges’ side made it clear to Nets he wanted to be a Knick. But Nets didn’t have to trade him. Knicks made an offer BKN couldn’t refuse. More on that, why Isaiah Hartenstein is unlikely to be back & what it means for OG Anunoby & more here: pic.twitter.com/Zu5uMmeAFd11:16 PM

Dave Early @DavidEarly
So the #Knicks landed Mikal Bridges… that’s bad for the #Sixers.
Insiders think NYK still re-signs OG Anunoby.
But the Knicks should now likely be out of the PG-13 sweepstakes… Oh and maybe KD could be on the move?

So the #Knicks landed Mikal Bridges… that’s bad for the #Sixers. More bad? Insiders think NYK still re-signs OG Anunoby.
But the Knicks should now likely be out of the Paul George sweepstakes, that could be good news.
Oh and maybe Kevin Durant could be on the move, or so the – 10:52 PM

The Knicks are still determined to keep OG Anunoby in free agency, per @wojespn. pic.twitter.com/PtK6ohxUmA10:52 PM

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn
The Knicks are still determined to keep OG Anunoby in free agency, sources tell ESPN, but the ability to resign center Isaiah Hartenstein becomes more difficult now. The Knicks are loading up on wings to match up with the NBA champion Boston Celtics. – 10:38 PM
Austin Krell @NBAKrell
The Bridges trade almost def takes NYK out of running for PG, but doesn’t have to jeopardize Anunoby’s future there.
They have his Bird rights. Still have $30m in cap after you add up their guaranteed salary. Still fairly easy to keep him (that defense would be insane). – 10:30 PM
Aaron Rose @AaronBenRose
OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Julius Randle is very Vision 6’9 style – 10:23 PM
Aaron Rose @AaronBenRose
We’ve repeatedly heard talk that OG Anunoby wants a bigger offensive role… I’m very curious to see how this impacts his future with the Knicks. – 10:16 PM
Law Murray @LawMurrayTheNU
So … where is OG Anunoby going … – 10:14 PM
Fred Katz @FredKatz
One thought: A team that thinks it will lose OG Anunoby probably doesn’t trade away four unprotected first-round picks before free agency begins. – 10:07 PM
Ky Carlin @Ky_Carlin
This has to mean that the Knicks are unlikely to re-sign OG Anunoby, right? Like he has to be in play with New York acquiring Bridges. That’s a huge move. – 10:05 PM
Dalton Johnson @DaltonJ_Johnson
The biggest question now: Is OG Anunoby available? – 10:00 PM

More on this storyline

The history of these all-in trades suggests teams underestimate the downside risk of the later outbound picks, and that the deals don’t pay off as often as you’d expect if the stated goal is a championship or even a Finals appearance. That is the reasonable goal now for the Knicks, presuming they re-sign OG Anunoby — which remains their plan, sources told ESPN. (If they fail, the entire perception of this trade changes.) -via ESPN / June 26, 2024
Yossi Gozlan: The New York Knicks are now hard capped to the $178.7 million first apron by taking back more salary than they’re sending out. This will have roster-building implications. They could still re-sign OG Anunoby and Isaiah Hartenstein, but they’ll need to reduce payroll elsewhere. -via Twitter @YossiGozlan / June 25, 2024
