If the Bulls can’t find a trade for Zach LaVine, some relationship rehabilitation would be needed. But he projects to fit well alongside Josh Giddey, Coby White and others.

More on this storyline

Giddey spoke more about his conversations with Presti in his introductory press conference with the Bulls. He said he’d rather get a fresh start elsewhere as a primary ball-handler in hopes of a massive extension. “I just said to him, ‘At this point in my career, I’m 21 years old, it wasn’t something that I was overly eager to do.’ He completely understood. Throughout the whole process, we were open and honest with each other,” Giddey said. “.. He got it. We worked together through the whole process and he got me to a great spot.” -via OKC Thunder Wire / June 25, 2024
KC Johnson: Josh Giddey on Bulls: “Very talented team and they’ve got a lot of guys—Zach, DeMar, Coby was awesome, really emerged last year, Pat Williams, the young guys Ayo and Dalen. I’m looking forward to trying to immerse in it and not take away from anybody.” -via Twitter @KCJHoop / June 25, 2024
