Kings linked to Bulls' Zach LaVine, Alex Caruso
The Sacramento Kings are going back to the well with the same trade package they offered Toronto twice for OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam. The offer includes Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter and draft pick compensation. They’re known to have had calls with Chicago involving Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso.

Chicago would likely have to surrender future draft capital and/or a player like Alex Caruso to move up that high in the draft.

Also, if he’s on the team at the start of the season, do you think there’s any potential for distraction/unrest? It seems like everyone was professional last year and I’m wondering if that can last if he’s truly unhappy. — Steve P. KC Johnson: Content may be the wrong word, and I do get the sense both sides are motivated to make something work this offseason. I don’t think the Bulls will take an awful deal if little materializes, but I do get the sense they’re open to more possibilities than before. Alex Caruso does for the Bulls’ defensive culture and identity what DeRozan does for their offense. Given the team’s stated desire to remain competitive, they have resisted trading Caruso despite tantalizing offers. The Bulls took calls on Caruso, but never made them. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the Bulls have received offers from multiple teams, consisting of multiple protected first-round picks. One of those deals included a pick in the top-10 of the 2024 Draft, the source said. The Golden State Warriors were among teams who made a strong offer for Caruso, multiple sources confirmed.
