Providence commit officially announces reclassification to 2024

Oswin Erhunmwunse, a top-25 prospect in the class of 2025, officially announce he is reclassifying and enrolling at Providence for the 2024-25 season.
The 6-foot-9 big man from Putnam Science (CT) and Team New England committed to Providence in January with the option to reclass. He also considered Creighton, Oklahoma and Georgia Tech.

Putnam Science assistant Josh Scraba told ZAGSBLOG: “Oswin has the body and athleticism to play this game at the highest level for a very long time. His timing as a shot-blocker is of the highest level. He’s a true game-changer any time he’s on the floor. The rare guys are the ones that change an entire team’s mindset around the rim and he’s one of those guys. Teams avoid the paint when he’s in the game.”
