Brotherhood Playoff Watch - Minnesota Drops Another To Denver
Wendell Moore isn’t playing, but he’s learning a lot
As we’ve discussed, Wendell Moore hasn’t played a lot for Minnesota lately, partly because Anthony Edwards has emerged as a superstar. It may ultimately make Moore expendable and we could imagine him being traded in the off-season. And that might work out better for him if he ends up somewhere else.
He didn’t get off the bench in Minnesota’s 115-107 loss to Denver Sunday but it might not have mattered. Edwards scored 44 points - and did it on 16-25 from the floor (including 5-8 on threes and 7-8 from the line) and still couldn’t pull his team across the finish line.
For the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic had 35 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
The series is now tied at 2-2 after Minnesota’s 2-0 start.
On Monday, Boston and Cleveland are on deck at 7:00 while Dallas and OKC get the nightcap at 9:20. Both series are 2-1 with Boston and Dallas leading their opponents.
