Jeremy Roach Commits To Baylor
The second former Blue Devil to pick a new school.
Former Duke point guard Jeremy Roach has made his portal decision and as rumored for a few days, he’ll be a Baylor Bear, assuming of course that he doesn’t stay in the NBA Draft.
He chose Baylor over Kentucky, Arkansas and St. John’s, meaning he picked Scott Drew over Mark Pope, John Calipari and Rick Pitino, with the former the new Kentucky coach and the latter two having also coached in Lexington.
Roach will team up with VJ Edgecombe, a five-star freshman with immense talent and Drew is now a widely respected coach.
Of Duke’s transfers, he’s the second to find a new school, with Kansas native Mark Mitchell having gone close to home, committing to Missouri.
It’s sad to see Roach leave, but we wish him the very best in Waco.
