More on this storyline

“I got so many (former teammates) in my career that, like, I have no relationship with,” Paul said. “Don’t really care to or anything like that. Or people who don’t like me or whatever. That don’t keep me up at night. But I’m grateful that I got a chance to be here with these guys. Me and Steph were already connected. Me and Dray definitely, you know, got a real connection now. And somebody I’m grateful that I really got a chance to know is Klay.” -via The Athletic / April 17, 2024
Golden State Warriors PR: Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been selected to compete with Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games, making his Olympic debut. Conversations for a new deal stalled between Thompson and the organization as the season began in the fall. They never really restarted during the season, but there wasn’t much concern over it as the Warriors navigated their ups and downs, Green’s suspensions, the death of assistant coach Dejan Milojevic, and Thompson working his way out of his personal funk. But sources told ESPN that throughout the season, there wasn’t much reassurance that there would undoubtedly be a resolution between both parties. That is what rubbed Thompson the wrong way, more than anything. -via ESPN / April 17, 2024
