VCU: no complaints except losing

Control what you can control. Some days the ball just won't go through the rim. 17/47 from the field, 4/17 from 3, and 9/18 from the FT line. We got out-rebounded but that wasn't the difference.
Did we execute perfectly? Nah, but not bad, we just didn't finish.
Did we take a bushel of bad shots? I don't think so, they just didn't go in.
Did we play bad defense? We held VCU to 49 points at home!
I would have liked to have seen more of Jack and less Elvis but really, it was a tough game against a really good (improving) team in a great environment and we had the last shot to win or tie.
Such is life.
