Four-star 2024 prospect Ahmad Nowell down to four schools
By SAM LANCE
Class of 2024 four-star guard Ahmad Nowell is down to four schools, he told Joe Tipton of On3.
Nowell, the 6-foot, 180-pound guard from Imhotep Institute (PA) and the Team Final AAU program, will choose between Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Tennessee and UConn. Nowell told Tipton he plans to make a decision sometime after Peach Jam, which concludes on July 9.
Nowell has visited every school on his final list officially besides Kentucky.
For Team Final this grassroots season, Nowell has helped the team to a 16-1 record while averaging 13.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists. Nowell is a coveted prospect, ranking as the No. 33 player nationally and No. 4 combo guard per 247Sports.
“I’d say I’m an all-around player,” Nowell said to On3. “I can rebound, pass, score it. I’m an overall leader, whatever the team needs me to do in order to win. I watch a lot of different guys, the handle like Kyrie (Irving), the shooting like Damian Lillard, and the dog like Jimmy Butler. I’m a natural winner.”
