Class of 2024 3-star forward Bryce Dortch commits to Rutgers

Bryce Dortch, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Brimmer & May (Mass.), announced his commitment to Rutgers on Tuesday.
He chose the Scarlet Knights over Temple and Virginia Tech.
“I’ll be committing to Rutgers University,” he said on 247Sports.

He previously told ZAGSBLOG: “Their message is they like how I can handle it and use my length on defense. They see me playing a similar role to Caleb McConnell but being my own version.”
He joins small forward Ace Bailey and power forward Lathan Sommerville in Rutgers’ 2024 class.
The Scarlet Knights are also focused on adding Class of 2024 guard Dylan Harper of Don Bosco Prep, who is now with the USA U19 team in Colorado Springs, Colo.
