Trail Blazers rookie Shaedon Sharpe suffers labral tear, will be reevaluated in 10-14 days
Shaedon Sharpe’s NBA career is on hold.
The Portland Trail Blazers announced that an MRI taken yesterday revealed Sharpe had a small labral tear in his left shoulder.
Sharpe will begin immediate rest and rehabilitation. He will miss the remainder of Summer League and will be reevaluated in 10-14 days.
The injury occurred during Portland’s Summer League game against Detroit on Thursday, July 7.
The 6-foot-5 Sharpe was the No. 7 pick in last month’s NBA Draft after not playing this past semester at Kentucky.
