South Carolina transfer Jermaine Couisnard to announce Thursday

South Carolina transfer Jermaine Couisnard will announce his new destination at 3 p.m. Thursday, he told ZAGSBLOG.

The 6-foot-4 guard is down to Gonzaga, Ohio State, Oregon, Houston, DePaul Maryland and UMass.

He just completed a visit to Oregon, where head coach Dana Altman hired ex-South Carolina assistant Chuck Martin to his staff.

Couisnard averaged 12 points, 3.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds as a junior.

He initially chose South Carolina in 2018 over Illinois and Louisville.
