The Glen Luss Glasgow Rocks marched on up the table as they comfortably beat the struggling Surrey Scorchers 107-77. The game had a very even start with the teams only split by a point after the first 5 minutes.

The Rocks then began to find their groove as they went on a couple of 6 point scoring runs. Jordan Harris was in the mood as he scored 3 first quarter dunks! The quarter ended 27-14 in favour of the Rocks.

Moving onto the second quarter the Rocks would extend their lead with Boban Jacdomni having a great quarter battling to the rim on multiple occasions. At the half, the Rocks led by 47 points to Surrey’s 28.

Moving onto the third quarter the Scorchers made a real push and led the Rocks for the majority of the quarter. They closed the gap to just 11 points with a few minutes to go, however, the Rocks would find their form from the first half to keep the Scorchers just out of reach.

With the 4th and final quarter, the Rocks well and truly were putting on the style, they scored a game-high 36 points in the quarter with Jonny Bunyan scoring 4 threes! Jordan Johnson also wrapped up his incredible MVP performance by scoring threes and assisting his teammates.

The game finished 107-77 in favour of the Rocks, this result puts the Rocks in 6th place as it stands! A massive revival from struggling in ninth place puts us in a great position in our bid for a play-off place! A great effort from the whole team!

The Rocks are back in action THIS SUNDAY as we take on Cheshire Phoenix at the Emirates, get your tickets HERE!
