Using a monster 28-0 run that spanned parts of three quarters, and a huge dose of freshman standout Elise Bender, Northern Lakes League champion Anthony Wayne won its first Division I girls district basketball championship since 2011 on Saturday, romping past league foe Springfield 53-24 at Central Catholic's Sullivan Center.
