[Women's Basketball] Lady Warriors Celebrate Senior Night in Winning Fashion

0 35

Sterling, Kan.-The 2022 graduating class of Lady Warrior basketball players has been transformational in their time at SC to say the very least. In the four-seasons leading up to their arrival on campus, SC had two winning seasons, had won 48 percent of their games, and had just one KCAC Conference Tournament win. Since this, now graduating, class has been on campus, the Lady Warriors are 110-16. They've won 93 percent of their games played on Lonnie Kruse Court and haven't had a home loss since January of 2019. They've won 87 percent of all of their games which includes a 90 percent win percentage in KCAC play. The team has played in three consecutive KCAC Tournament Championship games (seeking a fourth this year), have won back-to-back KCAC regular season titles (the first KCAC title since the '09-10 season), and have secured their fourth trip in a row to the NAIA Women's Basketball National Tournament. The class has been instrumental in returning the Lady Warriors to their rightful place atop the KCAC year in and year out and as a premier women's basketball program in the NAIA. It only made sense for this class to go out with one last dominating regular season win at home last night as they beat McPherson 90-61.
