[Women's Basketball] STERLING CONTROLS FROM START TO FINISH AGAINST YORK
York, Neb.-It isn't very often that teams win a conference championship and then have questions to answer after. But that is the exact spot the Lady Warriors found themselves in as they traveled to York, Nebraska on Saturday, February 12th. After losing Bailey Albright in the second half of the Friends game earlier this week, Sterling had to find a way to replace one of their key pieces with just three regular-season games left on the schedule. Fate would have it that next on the schedule was York; a team that has won just three conference games this season. With Korynn Clason stepping into the starting lineup and some new faces playing more minutes than usual, the Lady Warriors put together an impressive game that they dominated from start to finish.
