Let's try this again... Our Conference season now, as of this moment, starts at home against the preseason favorites in the conference... The Bonnies came in at 8-3, having lost 2 in a row... Their most recent game was on Dec. 17 where they got blown out by 37 against VA Tech.
Game is on Sunday Afternoon at Noon and will be shown on the CBS Sports Network.
Starting Lineup:
G 0 Kyle Lofton 63 185 SR Hillside, NJ
G 5 Jaren Holmes 64 210 SR Romulus, MI
G 1 Dominick Welch 65 205 SR Buffalo, NY
G 33 Jalen Adaway 65 215 RS SR Logansport, IN
C 21 Osun Osunniyi 610 220 SR Pleasantville, NJ
Holmes is off to a fantastic start (team leading 15.8 PPG, 6.6 RPG 4.5)... Lofton is their best player as we know, 15.6 PPG 5.5 APG... Welch can shoot it from 3... Adaway is their leading rebounder at 7.6 RPG... Osunniyi is one of the best shot blocker in the country, 3 BPG.
They very little depth, when I mean little depth, Schmidt basically only plays those 5... They have only played 8 guys all year, the other 3 range from 10-13 MPG (non walkons)
Let's see if the guys can make a statement starting out conference play at the Arena... Go UD!
