Live Thread: Warriors @ Cavs

Good evening CtB!

Back on the shores of Lake Erie, the Cavs come home to face off against the best team in the NBA so far this season, the Golden State Warriors. The Cavs face a monumental task tonight trying to contain Steph Curry’s offensive playmaking, and they will face that task massively shorthanded. Here’s the latest injury report:

#Cavs Jarrett Allen, Lauri Markkanen and Lamar Stevens remain OUT tonight vs. Golden State. Collin Sexton and Evan Mobley are also out, of course.

Back to back games are an idiotic idea in today’s NBA, in the year 2021. The Cavs will consider it a victory to just maintain the competitive edge for a full 48. All that being said, it wouldn’t surprise at all if the pesky, scrappy Cavs can cover the +9.5 home dog spread… yes, yours truly is an optimist!

Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm ET, and the game will be broadcasted by Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes, GO CAVS!
