KANSAS CITY, Mo. —  The Sterling College Lady Warriors come into the 2021-2022 season ranked 18th after the NAIA's Preseason Coaches' Poll was released. The Lady Warriors finished last season ranked inside the top 10 at #9 in the nation. Sterling found great success in 2020-21 season as they achieved a record of 30-1. They also won the KCAC Regular Season Championship, the KCAC Tournament Championship, and advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NAIA National Tournament. Sterling will look to build on the success of last season as they return three starters from last year's team as well as multiple players who played valuable minutes off the bench.

Two KCAC women's basketball teams were recognized in the NAIA Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll, the national office announced Wednesday. Tabor College was the other team from the KCAC as one of the teams in the "Receiving Votes" category. The next edition of the poll will be released November 17.
