[Cross Country] Cal Pac Runners Paring Times

With the California Pacific Conference Championship meet about a month away, four conference cross country programs competed in two states last weekend.  In the women's 5K event of the San Diego Mesa College XC Invite, Soka University of America's Naomi Otsuka generated her second top 20 finish of the season, placing 16th in the field of 105 runners, crossing the finish line with a final 21:00.5 effort.  Up North, (RV) UC Merced's Daniel Herrera ran a 26:46 8k to lead the UCM men's squad to a 5th place finish in the mostly-Division I Pacific Collegiate Invitational in Lodi, Calif.  And at the OUAZ Spirit XC Invite in Surprise, Ariz., both Embry-Riddle's men's and women's teams dominated the meet.  In the men's 8k, the No. 4 Eagles claimed the top 13 finishers in the field of 23, and the No. 14 women took the first six spots in the field of 25 runners.
