Five-star IMG Academy guard Jaden Bradley commits to Alabama
By ADAM ZAGORIA
Jaden Bradley, the 6-foot-2, 178-pound point guard from IMG (FL) Academy, is headed to Alabama, according to ESPN’s Paul Biancardi.
Bradley chose the Crimson Tide over Arizona, Florida State, Gonzaga and Kentucky.
Ranked the No. 3 point guard in the Class of 2022 by the 247Sports Composite, he is Alabama’s first commit in 2022. Bradley also held offers from North Carolina, Auburn, DePaul, Florida, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, NC State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCLA, Wake Forest and Xavier, among others.
“First and foremost, he’s a great young man,” IMG Academy coach Sean McAloon said. “He loves to make others around him better. In my opinion, he’s the only true point guard in the country. Makes the right pass, scores when needed, and has the willingness to do what it takes to have his team win. Flat out, he’s a winner. Doesn’t care about stats, just cares about winning!”
Bradley said he was looking for a “family-based” program.
“I’m looking to have a good relationship with the coach, somewhere that I fit the program, where I feel comfortable and that helps me get to the next level,” he said.
He added: “I’m definitely a team-player. I like to get my teammates involved. I like pushing it downhill. I can score and do a little bit of everything.”
