Toledo safety director should be reassigned, mayoral challenger says

Toledo Safety Director Karen Poore should be reassigned to a different task — such as in the city’s finance department — and replaced by someone with experience overseeing public safety services, mayoral candidate Carty Finkbeiner said Saturday during a campaign appearance at a central Toledo park where gunfire erupted last weekend during a basketball tournament.
