[Baseball] Baseball Tournament Gets Rain on First Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - (TOURNAMENT PAGE) - The 2021 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Baseball Tournament opened with only three of the scheduled six games played. Mother Nature forced the Concordia site to postpone it's final game of the day while the Indiana Tech site needed to reschedule two games.

Third-seeded UNOH bested No. 4 Cornerstone 11-5 thanks to home run balls by Goodes and Flores and two by Castillo. Cornerstone turned around and shocked second-seeded Concordia 4-2. Concoria and UNOH will play at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Fifth-seeded Madonna came from behind to beat No. 6 UM-Dearborn 6-5 with three runs in the bottom of the eighth. Indiana Tech and UM-Dearborn will start off Friday ath 1 p.m.
