Surprise - Mark Gottfried May Be In Trouble Again
Fromer NC State coach is on leave as questions about his program swirl.
Well who could have ever imagined this happening: after leaving Alabama under mysterious circumstances which you can google if you’d like although there was never any confirmation of the rumors you’ll find, and leaving NC State with a tremendous NCAA hangover, Mark Gottfried has been put on leave by Cal State Northridge - along with his staff.
The university, which was keen to hire Gottfried in 2018, now finds that questionable things may have taken place.
Nothing has been proven yet but given what’s been alleged at State, where he had every advantage, what might have happened at Northridge, where he basically has none?
