[Men's Volleyball] BENU Sweeps, Advances to National Semifinals

Benedictine-Mesa moved one step closer in its quest to repeat as national champions by sweeping past No. 10 Lourdes (Ohio), 25-22, 25-17, 25-21, in its second match of Pool B play at the 2021 NAIA Men's Volleyball Championship at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa.  The Redhawks, 17-0 and ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, advance to tomorrow's semifinal round, where they will meet No. 7 Vanguard at 2:00 pm PST.  BENU played at Vanguard in back-to-back matches back in February when the Redhawks earned a closely played four-set win and came back the next day to an even closer five-set victory.
