Texas Tech guard Mac McClung will test the NBA Draft waters while also entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.
“I’m entering the draft [and] still interviewing with agents and also putting my name in [the] portal,” he said by text.
The 6-foot-2 junior from Virginia averaged 15.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists this past season after transferring from Georgetown and obtaining a waiver to play immediately.
He tested the NBA Draft waters a year ago after leaving Georgetown but elected to join Chris Beard’s team at Texas Tech. Now with Beard leaving for Texas, McClung is the latest Red Raider to depart.
