Can Syracuse Get by San Diego State and Make a Run?
Syracuse hasn’t exactly been turning heads lately. The Orange has kind of been stumbling around and were quite unimpressive throughout the regular season and into the conference tournament. They were 16-9 in the regular season and went 9-7 in the conference, but Syracuse has been playing their best basketball at the end of the year, and Buddy Boeheim looks like he’s a man on a mission.
Syracuse has about three or four different guys that can light it up, take over the game and really make a difference. Sure, San Diego State was one of the three or four best teams in college basketball last year, and if you look at some of their KenPom ratings, they are terrific in offensive and defensive efficiency, but the Cuse is a very live dog here. Take a look at the moneyline at the FanDuel Sportsbook, for example. There were many people on the Aztecs, but that moneyline has kind of crept down a little bit. Syracuse can certainly cover and have a good shot at winning this game outright.
