CHICAGO – Senior small forward Josh Niego (Chicago, Ill./Lewis/Brother Rice) led all scorers with 18 points and was 7-for-10 from the field, including 3-for-4 from three-point range as Saint Xavier University men's basketball (8-7, 8-3 CCAC) knocked off Holy Cross College (Ind.) 78-67 Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center in Chicago. The Saints were receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll released on February 10. Niego also had five assists and five rebounds. The win improves the chances of SXU hosting in the first round of the CCAC Tournament starting on Tuesday, February 23.
