[Men's Basketball] No. 1 Tigers rally late for 85-80 win

Bethel University joined the Mid-South Conference as a full member and for the first time traveled to Davis-Reid Alumni Gym to battle Georgetown College. The No. 1 Tigers, coming off a tough road conference loss Thursday, faced adversity but clawed past it and the Wildcats, 85-80, on Saturday.

GC improves to 3-1, 1-1, while the BU falls to 2-3, 0-3.

With the visitors up three and 15:04 showing on the clock, a GC foul followed by a pair of technical on coach Chris Briggs could have been disastrous for the home team. However, the Tigers pulled together, rallying behind their coach's fiery passion and finished on a 34-23 run in the final 15 minutes – including a 22-10 spurt in the final nine minutes.
