[Men's Basketball] Cold Shooting Downs Men's Basketball
Doane Men's Basketball dropped their second game of the season on Saturday with a 68-60 defeat at the hands of Dickinson State (N.D.). The Blue Hawks held the Tigers to 39-percent shooting while converting on 53-percent of their attempts.
For the game, the Tigers were led in scoring by Anthony Laravie (SR/Omaha, Neb.). He knocked down four 3-point baskets and finished with 17 points. Ben Moxness (JR/Scribner, Neb.) added 12 points with a team-high seven rebounds and Zach Witters (SR/Lenexa, Kan.) chipped in with 10 points with a team-high four steals.
Dickinson State was led by Bryce Knox with 22 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Travon Hamilton dished out a game-best eight assists.
Doane returns home on Wednesday, November 4, to take on Manhattan Christian at 7:00 PM.
