Shane Nowell commits to Arizona

Shane Nowell, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard from Eastside Catholic (WA) and the Seattle Rotary AAU program, committed to Arizona on Saturday.

Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 27 shooting guard and No. 116 overall prospect in the Class of 2021, he also held offers from Kansas, Washington and Oklahoma, among others.

ESPN 4 Shane Nowell set to announce his commitment later today.

Nowell is the younger brother of former University of Washington and current Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jaylen Nowell.

He joins point guard Kenneth Simpson Jr. and combo guard Shane Dezonie in Arizona’s 2021 class.
