As the Blue Devils fall to 1-5.
Duke gave State a good test for most of the game before fading in the second half and losing 31-20.
State really shut limited Duke’s rushing game, limiting the Devils to 129 yards total. Chase Brice was the leading rusher and it’s usually not good when your quarterback is your leading rusher, worse when he has just 23 yards and worse still when the second leading rusher (Mataeo Durant) finishes with nine yards on seven carries.
Brice also finished with 190 passing yards.
Duke falls to 1-5 on the season. Jim will be along soon with his take.
