Watch Celtics’ Marcus Smart Show Off Throwing Arm Playing Football In Pool
Watching Marcus Smart play basketball, one wonders how he might have fared playing football, too.
With some of the steals The Boston Celtic gets in games, he’d likely might make for a solid free safety, and with his grit and strength, he potentially could make a name for himself as an edge rusher as well.
But let’s not forget about the possibilities on the offensive side of the ball.
As a point guard, Smart naturally must employ great court vision and facilitation skills, similar to that of a quarterback. And based on the looks of things, it appears he also has the arm to play under center on the gridiron too.
During the Celtics off day on Monday, he showed off his cannon in the pool throwing a football across the large pool at the NBA Bubble campus at Walt Disney World Restort in Orlando, Fla.
Check out the video, uploaded to Boston teammate Enes Kanter’s Instagram story via Boston.com, below:
Someone make sure that NFL teams longing for a quarterback this season don’t see this video.
