Raptors, Adrian Griffin Issue Statement Regarding Abuse, and Domestic Violence Allegations
The Raptors and Adrian Griffin comment on the domestic violence allegations against him.
After Adrian Griffin’s win last night as Raptors interim head coach, allegations posted to social media have come to light this morning. These allegations paint a very dark picture of Griffin’s personal life, and relationship to his former wife. Claims of domestic violence have been made. The Raptors and Griffin have responded, you’ll see that below.

Although these allegations have only received attention today, Griffin’s former wife has been sharing information regarding this matter for months now. Audrey Griffin’s twitter is here, where you can explore further for yourself.

Griffin is a high ranking employee, and if he is guilty of these allegations, this shines a real light on the Raptors willingness to overlook things in the hiring process, or with current employees.
The Raptors immediately cut ties with Kay Felder after his domestic violence charges came to light. James Johnson’s domestic assault charges didn’t seem to spur on any action on the behalf of the Raptors, some time ago. Griffin hasn’t been charged with anything as of yet, and his legal dispute is reportedly pertaining to alimony and child support arrangements.
