Inside Jason Derulo’s California castle featuring basketball courts, swimming pools and home movie theater
JASON Derulo has been self-isolating during the coronavirus pandemic in a massive castle compound which he bought for $3 million several years ago.
Situated in Tarzana, just outside of Los Angeles, the private mansion has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, along with two garages that house up to eight cars – and a fully-lit sports court for playing basketball.
The fairytale-like home has turrets and stained glass windows, with modern interiors, including a home movie theater to watch the latest films – and snack on Sour Patch KIds – a gym including a sauna and tanning room, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The property also has a 75-foot pool complete with a built-in bar and abridge that leads to a pergola.
His Instagram stories in recent weeks have included videos of him playing basketball on the courts, and dancing on top of a pool table.
He has also shown off a sweeping staircase – complete with red carpet – that showcases a huge mural of some of the singer’s favorite stars including Mohammad Ali and Barack Obama, and his black and white themed dining room, with medieval-style chairs.
He has been quarantining with new girlfriend, model and influencer Jena Frumes, the ex of Manchester United footballer Jesse Lingard.
A source told The Sun exclusively: “Jason and Jena hadn’t been together too long before the lockdown started but they decided to take the plunge — and they are loving it.
“They’re both outgoing, lively and spontaneous, so they’re a really good match.
“For a while, Jason didn’t want to be stuck down in a relationship, especially when performing around the world. But this just felt right and he is seeing what happens.”
“It’s all going well so far and they have formed a really good connection.”
It seems the pair are also fond of a bet or two as the Want To Want Me hit-maker shared a video in late April revealing he had shave off his eyebrow for a bet.
“Had to shave my eyebrow for a bet,” Jason captioned the video.
In the clip, Jason did one slow motion over his eyebrow and his brow disappeared.

The Cats star — who has scored four UK No1s and also starred in the Cats movie — dated singer Jordin Sparks for three years until 2014.
He went on to have a short-lived romance with lingerie model and actress Daphne Joy in 2016. Since then, he’s been single.
