Quincy Ballard to Florida State

Quincy Ballard, the 7-foot center from Quality Education (NY) Academy, announced his commitment to Florida State on Saturday.

Ballard, who received an offer from Florida State on April 4, chose the Seminoles over his other two finalists: Syracuse and Maryland.

Prior to his FSU offer, Ballard’s only offers were from UNC Wilmington, UNC Asheville, Missouri State, Radford and South Carolina Upstate.

Ballard joins Scottie Barnes and Sardaar Calhoun as the third commit in the Seminoles’ 2020 class.
