Siena women's basketball on right side of rout

Sophomore guard Amari Anthony scored a career-high 22 points and senior guard Sabrina Piper added 18 points in a 72-43 rout of Canisius in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game at Alumni Recreation Center.
The Saints (6-13 overall, 4-6 MAAC) have suffered six losses by 27 or more points this season, most recently an 80-50 home defeat to Manhattan on Jan. 16. But since then, they lost at league leader Rider by four points on Jan. 18, followed by three consecutive victories.
Siena head coach Ali Jaques said she was happy to see her players enjoying the right side of a rout.
