[Men's Basketball] Mechanics Get Back on the Winning Track

Williamson started slow but finished strong on Saturday and that proved to be the difference, as they defeated Harrisburg Area Community College by a score of 67-45.

A back and forth first half saw Williamson trailing by three at 22-19 with two minutes left in the half.  A quick 10-3 burst to close the half put them up, 29-25 at the break.

The second half was all Mechanics as they methodically pulled away from the visiting Hawks.  They led by as many as 23 at one point, outscoring their guests 36-20 in the second half of play.

Three Mechanic players hit double figures on the day.  Vontango Donzo led Williamson with 18 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocked shots, while Kyle Morgan (FR/Wilmington, DE) added 11 points five rebounds and five assists and Nazhir Goldson added 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals.  Isaiah Kelsey (FR/Wilmington, DE) added nine points and five rebounds off the bench for Williamson.

The Mechanics move to 7-10 with the win and are off until next Friday when they host Patrick Henry College in a rare Friday afternoon game, starting at 4:30 P.M.  They then take on Christendom College the next day in a 1:00 P.M. start.
