The P5 basketball media is telling us every night on TV that the surprise teams of the year (can you say Dayton?) are not really good/or better then in the past, it's just that the P5 powers, UK, U of L, AZ, Kansas, Duke, etc, have just come back to the pack. In other words, if they were as good as they have been the surprise teams would not be surprises :)
It cant be that a non P5 team has improved their level of play to co-exist with the traditional P5 teams, it has to be that "there just are not three really good teams this season"!
Of course I don't trust the Hoop Media anymore then I do the "fake new" media.
Solution? Keep winning. Since the P5 teams wont play us home and home keep traveling to Maui, Phoenix and Chicago. Beat the P5 teams in the NCAA tourney and establish/prove that the Dayton Flyers have one of the best D1 programs in the country.
